1. This is so delicious!! I made the 2lbs like the recipe calls for but I want to try a 1 lb loaf soon as it is going to be too much for us. Crusty on the outside and soft on the inside!!

 2. This makes really good bread!
I ha no sunflower seeds but it came out delicious!
I tried other bread recipes but it did not compare to this one!

 3. Fantastic recipe! I've tried several different whole wheat recipes, and this one takes the cake. I didn't have any vital wheat gluten or bread flour (something I usually keep on hand), so I just used all-purpose flour. I LOVE the sunflower seeds - it gives the bread a great texture. This bread will definitely become a staple at my house! Thanks for submitting it!

 4. Love this recipe! I made it as printed except that I substituted agave nectar for the honey to make it even healthier. This made a perfect 2 lb. size loaf with no concerns about rising too high. I will make this often.

 5. This made a very big loaf- so big that it almost overflowed before pulling back in on itself. I was worried that it was going to push open the breadmaker but it all stayed inside. I used one packet of yeast ( 2 1/4 tsp) and omitted the sunflower seeds (because I forgot). I don't know if it would have worked in my Sunbeam with the full measures of these two ingredients. Anyway, I did like the bread!

 2. A wonderful hearty bread. I used canola oil in place of the olive oil. Next time I'll try the olive oil and use fresh sunflower seeds (those I used were old and had a stale smell). This will become the basis of most of my loaves.
