  1. Wash wild rice. boil for 15 minute Drain.
  2. Cook the bacon, reserving 3 tablespoons drippings.
  3. Saute celery, onion and green pin drippings until transparent.
  4. Put in a large pot with the diced bacon,rice, broth, soup and mushrooms.
  5. Cook on low for one hour or more.
  6. Do not add salt!
  7. Enjoy!
