- 1 (3 ounce) package lemon gelatin
- 2 cups boiling water, divided
- 2 cups vanilla ice cream
- 1 (3 ounce) package orange gelatin
- 1 cup cold water
- 1 (11 ounce) can mandarin oranges, drained
directions
- In a bowl, dissolve lemon gelatin in 1 cup boiling water.
- Whisk in ice cream until blended.
- Pour into 4-oz. stemmed glasses.
- Chill for 2 hours or until set.
- Dissolve orange gelatin in remaining boiling water.
- Stir in cold water and oranges. Chill for 2 hours or until partially set.
- Pour over the lemon layer.
- Chill for 2 hours or until set.
- Garnish with cool whip and enjoy!

I live in Illinois with my husband and we both love to try new things. He's definitely a better cook than I am, but I try to keep up. We have three dogs but no kids as of yet. Maybe in the next year or two we will start thinking about children but for now we are enjoying our time together. I love making up drinks and desserts and i'm not too bad at baking.
