Ingredients Nutrition

  • 800 g baked beans (2 cans of Heinz are usually best for this)
  • 500 g new potatoes
  • 500 g ground beef (1 can of corned or ground is usually enough)
  • 1 medium onion (chopped or diced)
  • egg (optional)

Directions

  1. Fry the onions until soft in a little oil or butter, depending on your taste, then add the beans.
  2. Heat the mix gently and stir continuously to prevent sticking.
  3. Add the potatoes (you can cut them to prefered size) and keep stirring until thoroughly cooked.
  4. Serve in a large bowl with a fried egg on top, or part of a main meal.
