Wok This Way

"A copy cat from the one at Texas Cattle Company in Macon, GA. Really easy and good....took a lot of tries to get it right.....I serve it over white rice with green beans and maybe garlic bread....I have used leftover steaks, but it wasn;t as good....Maybe because they were already marinated....other wise I just use salt, pepper and maybe a little bit of montreal seasoning. Do not use garlic powder instead of minced garlic, it is no where near as good."

directions

  • In a large skillet cook meat on medium heat with a few dashes of worchestershire sauce until fully cooked,(if using precooked meat slightly saute it).
  • Add onion, peppers and minced garlic. Cook until onions have slightly golden edges, then add gravy and mushrooms.(You may want to put a small amount of water, like a 1/2 cup, in the gravy jar and shake up with the lid on and then add it to the skillet.)Add another dash of worchestershire sauce and the onion powder and a few shakes of salt and pepper.
  • Mix it all together very well, making sure to get all the meat and veggies coated with gravy.
  • Reduce heat. Simmer for about 10-15 minutes, stirring every few minutes.
