  4. Love this, although have reduced the amount of sugar to 1/4 cup as I found it too sweet with 1/2 cup.

  5. Our neighbour gave us a huge wombok straight from her garden, so of course the first thing I did was turn to Zaar to find a recipe. Only ONE recipe for Wombok - but luckily it was a good one! I only needed enough for two and didn't have all the ingredients, so I'm afraid I did have to improvise a bit. I finely sliced enough Wombok for two, then added shallots, grated carrot, finely sliced red capsicum and half a bunch of roughly chopped coriander. For the dressing, I used 1 tbs sugar, 1/2 tbs white wine vinegar, 2 tsp soy sauce and 1 tsp sesame oil. I added whole, toasted, blanched almonds. I didn't have the Chinese noodles but will try adding them next time. This made a lovely, light, sweet coleslaw-y salad that went beautifully with some lamb chops marinaded in soy and mirin.
