  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Grease a loaf pan.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, with an electric mixer, beat together the butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, baking soda, baking powder, sour cream and bananas.
  4. Slow beat in the flour until well mixed.
  5. Fold in walnuts.
  6. Pour into greased pan and bake for 45 – 55 minutes (depending on the size of the pan and how many loaves are baked at once).
  7. Start checking around 45 minutes by inserting a toothpick into the middle of the bread. The bread is done when the toothpick comes out clean.
