directions

  • Mix all ingredients together and use for a marinade prior to cooking the pork or chicken.
  • I also set some aside at the beginning and use it to brush over the meat the last few minutes it is cooking. This makes enough marinade for 1 1/2 - 2 pounds of meat.

  1. We were supposed to cook the pork chops yesterday but couldn't so they were 48 hours in the marinade. They were so yummy and tender. Just a bit sweet, a hint of sweetness. Thanks TasteTester :) Made for 123 hit wonders

  2. Very nice marinade. I also added red pepper flakes for a bit of heat. Marinaded two bone-in chicken breasts in the fridge for 6 hours. Very flavourful and juicy. Thanks for sharing.

  3. This is an awsome recipe. I made this chicken into an oritental salad with mandarin oranges and chow mein noodles, so great and full of flavor.

  4. 5 stars for sure! This tastes somewhat similar to the Orange Chicken that hubby often requests and this was just as tasty. It was super simple to put together before work. I marinated 2 large chicken breasts for 6 hours and baked at 375 for an hour. I did add some red pepper flakes for heat, but other than that, I would never change a thing. I love how the sauce kind of carmelized in the high heated oven and we devoured our chicken! Very moist and very delish!

Our family moved to Florida from New York in the 90's, so I've brought not only many of the recipes my family has passed down, but have learned to cook some great Southern dishes as well.? When I found RZ, it opened up a whole new world of cooking -- cuisine from different countries, tried-and-true family hand-me-down recipes, and some interesting and delicious dishes I would never have found on my own.
