Questions & Replies

  1. When I put this into the app it comes up as 2 points per cookie, 5 points for 2 cookies. Am I doing something wrong? I put in 24 servings and the exact recipe.

  1. Delish!! The hard part is not devouring the entire 24 cookies! Thusly defeating the whole WW point thingy. But, I will try to control myself and only eat 2.....yeah, right.

  2. These cookies are not one point for 2 cookies. I am a weight watcher member and when I work the points, 1 cookie is one point.

  3. My brother wanted cookies... even though the rest of the family is trying to cut back. I had to find something, so I made these. He was very satisfied, but I'm making more tomorrow. Great "diet" cookies. *Made these again but I added some heart healthy walnuts to the dough along with the chocolate chips.

  4. These are really good! Perfect for a craving, or if you have kids who need to watch their intake too, like I do. Don't be afraid of the oil - in such a small amount (2 tsp), it is perfect. I love that this doesn't make a TON of cookies that you have to have hanging around, taunting you for days.

  5. These are great cookies! I have been making them for about a year now for my children. I double the recipe and add a tablespoon or 2 of ground flax seed. I also replace about 1/3 of the white flour with whole wheat flour. My kids and their friends love these and don't even realize that it's a healthier version of the traditional CC cookie. Thanks for the recipe!

  2. My first batch was flat as a pancake but the 2nd batch I lowered the canola oil to only 1 T and it was much more to our liking--soft & higher. Also used light brown sugar instead of dark for my husband as well as nuts. Also made a batch w/white chips & macadamia for me. Mine cooked 6 min.Don't forget to ADD FLOUR & BAKING SODA TO WET INGRED. NOT IN DIRECTIONS.

I am a special education teacher for the birth to three crowd! I love my job! My husband and I have 4 teenage daughters. He is so great--he keeps the 5 of us in balance..which isn't always the easiest job in the world! My picture came about while I was in college a few years ago. I was going crazy with tons of homework but felt compelled to make the family breakfast. I wasn't paying any attention to what I was doing and when I looked down, the eggs were smiling up at me! For some reason, I just love that picture and I don't really want to change it to a photo of myself. Biggest pet peeve: Tangled hangars! You try to get just one hangar and 3 more will somehow twist themselves around the one you want! I am very allergic to onions--I do not breathe them, eat them or touch them if I can help it. Sometimes I feel like we are an onion obcessed society! Start looking at labels! You would be surprised at how many boxes and packages contain onion in some form. That's okay....I make most things from scratch--which is probably better anyway.
