Made this wonderfully unusual casserole to share at a neighborhood get-together & it was one of the first to disappear! Everyone loved the combo of flavors & I even had to come back to print out several copies of the recipe! Great hit of a recipe & definitely a keeper! Thanks for sharing it! BK, you have done it again. this is the best take on scalloped potatoes that I have ever tried (even DH gave this 5 stars with a smile!). I made a half recipe and it cooked a lot fasted than I had expected even at 300 degrees so it had to sit a bit before everything else was ready and sadly it lost the "fresh from the oven" bloom before it was pic time. That however, did nothing to diminish the outstanding flavors. There were no leftovers I assure you :D. Yes, its a little time consuming but most of that time is baking time and it really does come together very easily. Try it, you won't be able to stop eating until it gone.
