Crust
2 cups vanilla wafer crumbs
¹⁄₃ cup melted butter or 1/3 cup margarine
filling
¹⁄₂ cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine
1 ¹⁄₂ cups sifted confectioners' sugar
2 eggs
¹⁄₄ cup sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 mashed banana
¹⁄₄ cup marischinno cherries, chopped

directions

Mix crumbs and melted butter.reserve 2 tablespoon for top.press remainder in bottom of pan(10x8 approx) cream the butter and confectioners sugar,add eggs, 1 at a tme.beatingwell after each.spead over crumbs.
combine sugar, cocoa and cream -whip. fold in nuts banana and cherries. pile on top of egg mixture in pan. sprinkle reserved crumbs on top.
chill 24 hrs or freeze.
serves about 10-12.
