ingredients
- 1⁄2 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups white flour
- 3⁄4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3⁄4 cup nuts
- 1 cup mixed fruit
- 1⁄3 cup cherries, chopped
directions
- Mix and sift flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Cream butter , add sugar, vanilla and eggs. Add flour alternately with milk, add floured fruit and nuts.
- Drop from spoon onto greased pan.
- Bake at 325°F for 15 minutes.

<br>I guess the dish that I am famous for is my Christmas ham - my family all comes home for Christmas, and if i don't have my ham they are dissapointed, and my grandson wants the pistachio squares!!! so I guess that is the dishes that I'm famous for.
