Directions

  1. Add olive oil and onions in a stockpot and saute over medium-high heat for 3-5 minutes until onions are carmelized.
  2. Add brown sugar and pepper.  Cover and cook 7-10 minutes, stirring often.
  3. Add turnip greens and chicken stock.  Toss all and cook for 3-5 minutes uncovered.
  4. Add roasted red peppers and crushed red pepper flakes to taste.
  5. Serve immediately.  Greens should be wilted, but do not overcook.
