Directions

  1. Wash white rice with cold water three or four times until water runs clear.
  2. Soak rice for 30 minutes.
  3. Rinse out all the water from the rice completely.
  4. With a tight lid pot boil water, butter, and salt.
  5. Add rice let boil for 2 minutes, than simmer on low heat for 25 minutes do not lift lid!shut off heat once done.
  6. Do not lift lid for another 10 minutes.
  7. Fluff and serve.
