Directions

  1. Pre heat oven to 180'C/350'F.
  2. Place all ingredients except the apples, cinnamon & brown sugar into bowl of mixer.
  3. Beat on low speed until combined.
  4. Increase speed to medium and beat for 3 minutes.
  5. Spread into a greased sponge roll/slice tin.
  6. Press the thin apple slices neatly into mixture.
  7. Mix the cinnamon & brown sugar together and sprinkle over the top.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
  9. Cut into slices when cool.
