Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
  2. Cream together butter, sugar and vanilla. Add egg.
  3. In a seperate bowl, sift together flour, soda, salt and starch.
  4. Mix into creamed mixture.
  5. Add chocolate chips.
  6. Drop by tablespoons on a wax or parchment paper lined cookie sheet.
  7. Bake for about 12 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Let cool on the cookie sheet for about a minute. Then transfer to cookie sheet for further cooling.
