Yummy Cobblestone Brownies

"This is a great twist on the origional packaged brownie, especially if you like a hint of coconut! Taken from Taste of Home 2009. Sift some powdered sugar over the top and wrap in plastic wrap with ribbon- makes perfect gifts!"

  • Brownies:.
  • preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • beat brownie mix, oil, eggs and extract on medium until well blended.
  • set aside 1 cup for topping.
  • spread batter into greased 13x9 in baking pan and bake 12 minutes.
  • Filling:.
  • in a small bowl, beat cream cheese, eggs, extracts and sugar until smooth.
  • fold in coconut flakes.
  • after brownies are baked for 12 minutes, spread cream cheese mixture over brownies in pan.
  • drop remaining cup of brownie batter over filling by teaspoons.
  • bake additional 45 minutes.
  • cool and enjoy!
