Yungueno (Bolivian Cocktail)

"Adapted from BoliviaWeb and Time/Life Foods of the World. You can add less sugar if you wish. "Yungueno" means "from the Yungas," which is a forested area on the Eastern slopes of the Andes. I've scaled this down to make fewer servings."

  • 3 ounces orange juice
  • 3 ounces brandy (Singani or Pisco preferred)
  • 1 teaspoon sugar (or to taste) (optional)
  • 1 12 tablespoons cold water (or crushed ice)

  • Place all ingredients in a shaker.
  • Mix very well.
  • Chill. This should be served very cold.
