Zesty Cheerios Diet Snack

"I was paying the big bucks for this snack from BistroMD, and they are delicious and popular, but I knew they couldn't be that hard to make. They are great for a low fat, crunchy potato chip substitute. I am sure that you can substitute any Chex flavor for the oat cereal."

  1. A snack that earned 4 1/2 stars in our house, these zesty little bites are perfect for when you are craving something savory and crunchy and have had so many veggies you feel like you have grown roots. I made as written and love how low fat these are. Given we always have Cheerios in the house and my fondness of chili powder and cumin you can bet your bottom dollar these will be made again. Thanks for the post.

  3. Can you make this in the air fryer? If yes what temperature and how long? Thanks

  4. I really like the idea of this recipe. I had but only ground red chili powder and using 1 tbs of that was too much. My tongue is on fire. It is simple to make and I will make some version of this again but with a different chili spice. I'm thinking of grinding down my cheerios as a topper for something else.

  5. I made this for hubby and my boys as they love to snack. It was easy to make and they enjoyed them. It was something different. Made for Spring PAC 2012
