  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Lightly mix ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, chopped onion, salt and pepper with 1/2 cup Manwich mix. Shape into loaf in shallow baking pan.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Drain excess fat then spread mustard over the top of the loaf.
  • Pour on remaining Manwich sauce and bake for 35 minutes longer. Baste several times.

When I first saw it, I thought this recipe would make for a unique tasting meat loaf, & that it did ~ VERY, VERY NICE TASTING, at that ~ Although it was made to be taken to a neighbor couple, I ALWAYS manage a serving for myself (the taste test, thing, understand)! I used a very lean ground beef, whole wheat breadcrumbs & went right on down the rest of the ingredients! Very quick to prepare & much appreciated by my neighbors!
