How do I submit recipes?

Review the 6 recipe categories and choose one (or more!) that you're interested in. You may enter recipes you've already uploaded to Genius Kitchen in the past or create and upload brand new recipes, as long as they fit into one of the contest categories. Fill out the recipe submission form at www.geniuskitchen.com/goldennomssubmissions by July 30th at 5:00pm EST.

What do I need to include in my submission?

A web link to your recipe on GeniusKitchen.com, including a description of the dish (aka how it fits into one of the six categories) and a photo of the completed dish. Recipes without a description or photo won't be considered.

How many recipes can I submit?

You may submit as many recipes as you like in each category, but can only be a finalist or winner in one category total. It is possible to be a "nominee" (aka runner-up) in multiple categories.

How many rounds are there in the recipe competition?

There are two main rounds. In the first round, the Genius Kitchen edit team will review all recipe submissions and select 10 nominees in each category. Of those 10 nominees, three will also be selected as finalists and move on to the final round. In the final round, the finalist recipes in each category will be reviewed by three professional judges and entered into a public vote.

When will I know if I've been selected as a nominee or finalist?

Nominees and finalists will be selected and notified by September 4th.

How many finalists and winners will there be?
