I am now an empty-nester. I had 5 children and there were always friends here, so it wasn't unusual to cook for 10 or more. Now there are just 2 of us and it is very different, but I have adapted and it is nice. I either have leftovers for the next day or two or I cook strictly for 2. My husband has Celiac disease so I have learned to cook gluten-free. My kitchen is 90% gluten-free so that I don't have to worry about contamination. I grow most of my own veggies and we kill a lot of our meat, so we eat mostly GMO free and organic. I also have 6 chickens that keep us in eggs. I love living off the land.
