I live in Cambridge, a town of about 16,000 people, in the central North Island of New Zealand. We have a moderate climate here, so we enjoy a range of fresh local produce.. from apples, feijoas, lemons and grapefruit, to delicious berries and stonefruit in the summer months. We have a weekly farmers market where I like to buy locally produced ingredients for cooking and baking. Its the next best thing to growing it myself ;-) I live with my partner and my two children aged 5 and 7. My children are very fussy eaters, so I'm always on the lookout for recipes that I might be able to tempt them with. My partner on the other hand eats anything I cook (he's such a good boy lol ;-)). I work part time from home for a bridal importer doing alterations to wedding dresses. Now that both my children are at school, I intend to set up my own business doing this sort of work. I am a passionate patchworker and quilter. I enjoy painting, and have recently dabbled in mosaics, which I would like to do more of (in my spare time! ;-)). I love to make recipes from people all over the world, and imagine them enjoying the very same things my family does :-)
