I have lived in Brisbane all my life and have travelled a bit but not nearly enough. My favourite cooking mags are Delicious and the Gourmet Traveller. We have a great climate and spend a lot of the time at the beach. We have plenty of beautiful seafood-oysters,prawns,crabs,scallops, salmon particularly from Tasmania where I like to go for holidays. We also have fantastic Aussie wines from inexpensive to expensive-never had a really bad bottle of anything. My favourite drop is any Pinot Noir from Tassie or Sav Blanc (Savignon Blanc from Margaret River or the Marlborough region of New Zealand) Also have two favourite beers James Boags Draught or James Boags Premium and Tooheys extra dry Platinum. Fantastic to have really really cold on hot summer days. The temperature in Brisbane ranges from about 16Max only some days in winter mainly about 19max and in summer Ranges from about 25max to mostly 35max some times summer can get up to 42 but not too often. The rest of Australia has discovoured our great climate and are moving here so we are having a great population influx. Possible also food's great, beer's great and beaches are great.
