I'm a college student (majoring in Astronomy) so cheap, quick, easy meals I can make in a kitchen the size of a closet which yield enough leftovers for a week appeal to me greatly. But sometimes I've just gotta have something fancier... Part of my chores growing up was to cook dinner once a week, so many of the things I cook are centered around feeding a family. Many of my dishes my parents won't have while I'm away at school because I make them better than they do.
