Have worked in restaurants and cooked all my life. I am into thrifty 'what ever's on sale' meals w/ lots of veggies on the side. Very often vegetarian, until I get cravings for ribs or cheeseburgers :) Am a wizard with lentils and dried legumes, making very affordable staples fit for a queen. Family dinners for a mix of meat eaters and vegetarians is a specialty-- finding foods that will please everyone without shorting anyone. I think food feeds the body and the spirit, so I do take it seriously and try to be in a good space and think good thoughts when I cook. You do get out of it what you put into it.
