It was a match made in munchies heaven.

The munchies strike again, at the perfect time, in the perfect place and with the perfect snack.

A San Diego Girl Scout stood outside of a newly-legalized marijuana dispensary on Saturday, hawking her Girl Scout Cookie wares to the weed-wielding shoppers that came for the cannabis and left with a light lunch. The scheme was so successful that she sold over 300 boxes in under six hours.

The dispensary, Urbn Leaf, posted an image of the entrepreneurial young scout to its Instagram account, and alerted locals to the presence of the sale. It even offered a prime pairing.

“Get some Girl Scout Cookies with your GSC today until 4pm!” it wrote in the caption. “Have a friend that wants to #tagalong? Bring them with—shopping is more fun with friends anyways.”

Those in the know would most likely be trippin’ doh, because “GSC” refers to a very different kind of Girl Scout Cookies—the kind that you smoke. Girl Scout Cookies is a popular strain of the marijuana plant, which, according to High Times, has a flavor that is “reminiscent of actual Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies.”

Marijuana was legalized for recreational use in California at the beginning of 2018.

According to local news station FOX4, the San Diego Girl Scouts of America chapter allows cookie sales out of wagons, as long as a parent or guardian is present. The scout in question was accompanied by her father. Yet, this is not always the case; in 2014, the Colorado chapter announced that it did not permit its members to sell cookies outside of dispensaries. The rules vary by region.

As more and more states legalize the green herb, cookie-peddling scouts will do well to take note of this San Diego youth’s technique and spunk: go where the wildly hungry things are.
