If you love the McGriddle—that fascinating pancake bun with the built-in syrup—get a load of its newest family member.

McDonald’s this week announced the release of a McGriddles French Toast breakfast sandwich, the newest addition to the fast food behemoth’s best-meal-of-the-day menu. The sandwich, which puts all the food groups in one hand, is now being tested at over 200 restaurant locations in Michigan.

The addition comes, the company says, after a demand for “bigger and more filling” options for the morning. The breakfast sandwich features an egg, melted cheese, a hot sausage patty and Applewood-smoked bacon, all inside of the new French toast McGriddle bun, which is brioche flavored with cinnamon and vanilla. The sandwich gets brushed with maple-flavored syrup for that familiar sweet-savory touch.

“With the introduction of McGriddles French Toast, we’re building a better McDonald’s by fulfilling our customers’ desires for a little indulgence at breakfast,” said the company in a statement.

As with any test item, there’s no guarantee that this breakfast sandwich will make the cut and spread to menus around the country. But hey, fingers crossed, right?
