First we heard about the “secret disco,” but now a hot tip is telling us that it’s tiki time.
Since we all want to know what sort of lavish and wild fun is going to be had on the British monarchy’s dime, rumors have been swirling this week about the details of the royal wedding’s second, smaller and decidedly more entertaining reception.
According to new information unveiled by the British tabloid, The Daily Star, the bar at the late-night party—where Prince Charles will welcome 200 people at the royal Frogmore House—will be tiki-themed, in honor of Prince Harry’s favorite London club, Mahiki.
Harry’s ushers will reportedly be pouring drinks and opening beers. On the menu? Apache shots, “frozen strawberry sparkles,” as well as cold beer, champagne and tropical cocktails.
For snacks, guests will have their pick of South African wagyu, while the Feast It food truck will be on hand to serve up street food.
To wash it all down, guests can go bottoms-up with an ice luge, as shots of vodka slide their way down a cold track.
Upset that you haven’t been invited? Don’t get mad, get even. You’ve got the blueprints, now go throw your own royal wedding party.
