Traditional English Tea Time Scones With Jam and Cream

"oh these are so good. Im not a baker, (i had to go and rescue my baking sheet from the deck where i put raccoon food on it) but so easy and tasted delicious. I made them with the cream and raspberries. Waistline is expanding! For thenon bakers like me, dont get scared if your dough isnt smooth or the scones are different heights. They still work!!"

Cherry Muffins

"Yummy muffins Dancer.......Added a tsp of almond extract for a little zip and dipped the warm tops in melted butter then in sugar. Loved them! Thank You!"

-LAURIE

Raspberry Buttermilk Muffins

"Charlotte, these muffins were incredible! So easy to make. I think they would also be nice with blueberries or banana. Certainly I will be making them again."

-Lynne G

My Favorite Chili

"This is the perfect hearty chili. It is mild but can be seasoned to taste. This chili has the perfect blend of beans, meat and sauce and one does not overpower the other. I have eaten it with grated cheddar cheese sprinkled on top and chopped onions and tobasco. A perfect meal in itself."

-Dan'l

Blackberry Custard Pie

"This was simply scrumptious! I used berries that I had picked and frozen last year. I didn't have a deep dish pie crust, so had to cut down the ingredients a bit. I wasn't sure how the pie would turn out having to do this, but it was perfect. Will definitely be making this again."

-Dreamgoddess

Tuxedo Cake

"Stunning! Did you know that dark chocolate is also loaded with fiber. A fantastic surprise, no?"

Mary's Italian Sausage Soup

"This was a tasty, hearty soup that I will definitely make again! Freshly grated parmesan is a perfect finishing touch. I gave it four stars only because I found that there was not enough liquid in the soup--in following the directions exactly, it simmered away, creating more of a juicy pasta dish than a soup. I would recommend another can of beef broth and more red wine (which I used exclusively rather than water)."

Italian Sausage and Tortellini Soup

"What a wonderful and comforting soup! I used sweet Italian turkey sausage and wheat tortellini. Loved the rich flavorful broth and all those veggies. Hearty and delicious - thanks for sharing the recipe!"

Easy Dilled Succotash

"A healthy Succotash yahoo. Never would have thought to put dill and Lima beans together, so glad you did as they really work well together. If you like Lima beans and dill this is a must try it is very tasty and very low if fat for those of us that have to watch that kinda of thing. Thanks for the post."

-Debbwl

Swedish Scrambled Eggs

"Loved the flavor of the fresh dill and the cream cheese in this. Like some other reviewers, I would probably cut the cream cheese amount to about half, because the full amount makes these a bit too rich for me. Still very tasty, though! Thanks for posting! Made for The Hot Pink Panthers for ZWT9"

Twice-Baked Potatoes With Caramelized Shallots

"Maybe my shallots were a bit too caramelized but they were so yummy. I had leftover in the pan. I ate them all in a minute LOL I used reduced fat cheddar cheese and it was so yummy. I used fat-free sour cream, 2% fat milk. Instead of parsley, I used chives. As you can see, I didn't halve the potatoes. Thanks Lazyme :) Made for Gimme 5 tag game"

-Boomette

Cheese Rosti

"Yum...potatoes and cheese! What's not to love? Stacking the layers made me worry the middle wouldn't be done and the outside would be too brown, but I lowered the cooking temp and it turned out beautiful. I grated some onion and minced some garlic and threw that in with the potatoes....sorry, I'm a southern girl! Made for ZWT7."

Simply Oven Baked Pork Chops and Rice

"The flavor is 5 star! I used chicken broth instead of water and also sprinkled a little seasoning salt and pepper on the pork chops. Then prior to putting them in the oven, I seared them and added chopped onions and garlic to the skillet. To kick up the flavor a notch, I mixed in 1/2 tspn of thyme to the broth and rice mixture. Because I seared the pork the oven time needed to be less or else it would have dried out. So to ensure my rice cooked through, I heated the broth to boiling before mixing it in. Overall a very tasty meal that I will definately do again. Thank you for sharing."

-Hunkle

Baked Potato Soup

"This is an awesome soup. My family loved it. I microwaved the potatoes instead of baking them."

-thenannyrenee

Butera's Baked Potato Soup

"This was really a great soup! Baking the potatoes made a big difference in the flavour, much deeper. Very simple to put together, we had this for a very filling meal along with some crusty bread. Thanks for posting :) Made for Aussie Reunion Tag!"

-~Leslie~

Grandma Max's Layered Jello Salad

"Made as posted using sugar-free Jello. Made in a small trifle bowl so it turned out pretty. Thanks for sharing Davalyn. Made for PAC Spring 2010."

-ElaineAnn

Greek Yogurt With Honey and Walnuts

"DD and I have plain yogurt mixed with fruit for breakfast almost daily, but she has been slow to appreciate Greek yogurt due to the thickness. I think this recipe may have swayed her; she licked the plate clean! She did not want walnuts, but I enjoyed the added crunch and think that candied walnuts would be divine. Thanks for posting!! Made for ZWT 9, Gourmet Goddesses."

-smellyvegetarian

Smoked Trout

"Recipe is so complete with all steps so clearly stated. It sounds fantastic and I thank Ellie for posting. Going to get out my fishing box and go catch some trout."

-Chef 565650 Jim

Fresh Cream of Asparagus Soup from the Farm

"This soup is a wonderful way to welcome spring! I was surprised how much the rice fluffed up and made the soup perfectly thickened. I cubed some day old bread and pan fried it with a little oil, butter, garlic salt and seasoning salt to top it off. I'll be making this one all spring long! Made for PAC '10."
