4th of July Martini

"This is so good and so pretty! It's bright blue and the grenadine makes a bright red layer at the bottom of the glass! Be sure to serve it in a glass martini glass to get the great effect! I served this at our 4th party and received many raves. This is my first post - hope you like it."

  1. Wow! This drink really got me into the 4th of July spirit! After a couple of these, I was feeling no pain. I loved the orange flavor from the blue curacao and triple sec. This was almost too pretty to drink...so I drank two of them :) Thank you for sharing this wonderful recipe.

  2. I too made this recipe last night to test it for today's 4th of July festivities..... It was fantastic! I didn't have blue curacao so I used Triple Sec and blue food coloring. Great in a pinch.

  3. Nobody had grenadine with liqueur. I couldn't find it online and the grenadine with syrup mixes so my drink was purple

  5. Very pleasant and photogenic drink; I'm grateful no special pouring skills were needed. My local liquor stores thought I had already been drinking when I asked for grenadine liqueur, so I used Rose's grenadine syrup instead. I posted Recipe #482210 #482210 as a result of my internet search - very handy if you need 3 quarts.
