ingredients
- 1⁄2 cup orange juice
- 1⁄2 cup raisins
- 1⁄4 cup soy sauce
- 1⁄4 cup white vinegar
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon bottled grated orange rind
- 2 tablespoons Heinz ketchup
- 2 tablespoons Heinz Chili Sauce
directions
- Bring to a boil for 2 minutes stirring.
- Remove from heat.
- Allow to cool to lukewarm.
- Put mixture in a blender till it is pureed.
- Pour in bottle.
- Cap tightly and refrigerate to use within 90 days.

Okay, I have read these reviews and also the ingredient list. I DO WHOLEHEARTEDLY believe that this may be a very viable recipe...for HEINZ 57 sauce...not A-1. I think the author has confused her numbers here. I call this a beautiful landing...at the wrong airport. If you are looking for Heinz 57, this may be the one you're looking for, but I found NOTHING in the ingredient list to lead me to believe you will get anything remotely resembling A-1 from this.
