  • Cut potatoes in small cubes.
  • Place diced potatoes in a bowl and spray with cooking spray.
  • Add seasoning salt of your choice, toss to coat.
  • Spread in air fryer basket.
  • Set air fryer to French fry setting and cook them until crispy, stir halfway through.

  1. This is a good base recipe. I make these using 8 oz. of baby red potatoes cut in half, with 1/2 tsp each salt, onion powder, garlic powder, and paprika. Mix together with 1 tbsp melted butter and air fry in a preheated 400 degree basket for 10 minutes, shaking half way through. Serves 2. So good.
     
  2. I am from the mid-west and consider these hash browns - but no matter what you call them they were perfect. Crispy - less grease! Will definitely use this recipe often!
     
  3. I don't think I can put much faith in Tom G's recipes if he doesn't know the difference between hash browns and home fires...
