  1. Very good, bake on high shelf in oven so the crust doesn't get to brown.

  2. I made this for my boyfriend and it's really good! I was worried that the bottom crust would not be moist enough but it definitely is and he says its the best part. I think maybe I would have liked some sugar blended into the topping, but I don't know how sweet sour cream can get. Pretty easy to make too! Though high in fat, it's a good protein fix for my boyfriend's breakfast. Though his mom was eating it with whipped cream on top! Wow! Also, I cooked it on the second rack from the top and it turned out perfect without the crust overly browning at all and used a variety of types of apple. However, I would recommend greasing your pan very well, otherwise removal may be difficult. I bet this would be really pretty in a pyrex pan with the layers and all, but my only glass pan is way too big.

  3. This was really good and pretty easy too! I used granny smith apples and cooked it on a higher shelf. My bottom crust was a little dry so I guess I didn't cut in the butter well enough. But it still tasted great!

  4. Thought the crust was too dry. The topping was ok. Just not what I was expecting.

  5. Excellent, excellent, excellent! Great flavor and my family loved it. As with your other recipes, MizzNezz, you posted yet another winner! Thanks!

After DH and I moved away from the farm, and to the city...I haven't done as much cooking and very little canning. But I do come to Zaar and look for new recipes once in a while. I'm still cooking Zaar!! I like to play at Facebook, with my family and friends. A lot of my Zaar friends are there!! Yay! It's a good way to keep in touch. We travel more. We're looking at the European trips now. Hope to go in the springtime. I really want to see London, I think I lived there in a past life, I've been obsessed with it since I was 10 years old!!
