  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 8 boneless pork chops (I have used bone-in chops)
  • 2 (6 ounce) packages herb-flavored seasoned stuffing mix
  • 2 (21 ounce) cans apple pie filling

directions

  • Heat oil in skillet over med-high heat.
  • Lightly salt and pepper pork chops.
  • Cook pork chops in oil until both sides are browned.
  • Meanwhile, prepare stuffing according to package directions.
  • Pour pie filling into a lightly greased 13 x 9 inch baking pan; lay pork chops on top.
  • Cover with stuffing.
  • Bake, uncovered, at 325 for 45 minutes to 1 hour, until pork chops are cooked through.
