"My Aunt Margie Dean, I call her Aunt Dean gave this to me when I was in high school. It is not too sweet and freezes wonderfully. I like the nuts in a bit larger pieces than Aunt Dean does."

  • Crumble yeast in milk.
  • Sift flour, sugar and salt.
  • Work in butter.
  • Add sour cream, yeast mixture and egg yolks.
  • Knead thoroughly.
  • Cover and place in refrigerator over night.
  • Divide into 4 parts.
  • Form rolls, using nut filling.
  • Brush tops with melted butter.
  • Let rise for 20 minutes and bake for 30 minutes at 350.
  • NUT FILLING: Mix in order given, put milk in slowly, just enough to make a soft filling, not watery.
