  1. I was really looking forward to these and thought with all of the ingredients they would be rather tasty. But my husband and I thought they were rather blah tasting. The only thing I did different was use cheddar cheese because I didn't have sharp cheddar, but I don't think that would have made that much of a difference in the taste. I also baked them in the oven.
     
  2. I made this recipe for dinner last night and my family just loved it! We had NY strip steak, your great Backyard poataoes and the Japanese Cabbage Sald that I have posted! I cooked the meat and potatoes on the grill! Everything turned out real tasty! Your potatoes were a great hit! Thank you so much for sharing them with all of us! YUM :-)
     
  3. Great comfort food! Very similiar to jacket potatoes; equally yummy. I baked these in the oven at 450 for 45 minutes and had good results. While this simple dish could handle other flavors as you've noted, it is really enjoyable as is. I wouldn't change a thing!
