Baked Broccoli

  • Cut broccoli into "trees" (stalks and florets together) then cut trees in half.
  • Put broccoli on baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Salt and pepper to tase.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes or until tender.
  • Take out of oven and sprinkle parmesan cheese over top and bake again until cheese is bubbly.

  1. I've been wanting to try this for a while, and finally did! I had a bag of fresh broccoli florets from Costco and wasn't sure they'd work - since the stems are short, but they were great. While drizzling the olive oil, I decided to toss the florets around in it and then baked it. <br/>My husband suggests I use garlic salt next time.<br/>Delicious! Thank you for posting it.
     
  2. Delicious and simple! I was searching for something to do with broccoli, other than steaming it and this was perfect. I used fresh grated parmesan cheese and I plan on experimenting with other cheeses. Thanks so much for sharing!

  4. This recipe was very very good! My daughter and I enjoyed the flavor of the broccoli being baked, it was a nice, flavorful change...I would definetly make this dish again.
