"I saw this made on the former tv show, "Home and Family" that was broadcast on the Family Network a few years ago. It's decadent!"

  1. Very quick, easy and delicious! It was better when chilled but that's a personal choice. It's a keeper!!

  2. Delicious warm & gooey dessert. These are like gooey, soft fudgey brownies. Mine needed an extra 10 minutes baking time. I will make these again.

  3. Yum! Very tasty and very easy to throw together. I also prefer it chilled, but it wasn't too shabby warm!(= I had to used margarine and omitted the pecans, but other than that made it as directed! Very good and I will be making it again!

  4. My family has been making this recipe for ove 50 years. It is susposed to be more like a custard. I have never seen anyone be able to slice like a brownie! We have one rule we pass on to anyone making this dish. You never, ever, refrigrate baked fudge!!!

  5. This has a great chocolatey taste and it's very chewy - more like brownie. Easy to put together. Mine took more than 45 minutes though. It's great warm or chilled. I added almonds. Great recipe which I will surely make again.

(As many of you know Silent Cricket passed away on Feb. 29. Since she loved Recipezaar so much and so many on Recipezaar have shown their love for her, and have enjoyed her recipes, her personal information will remain here indefinitely just as she wrote it. Her lines at the end of this section sound somewhat prophetic as the last chapter of her earthly existence has been written.) Well, the time has come for me to change my users' name. After being, "OzCoMartha" because of having lived for three years in Australia and then moving to Colorado, I have decided to "turn over a new leaf." I chose this name because many moons ago I used to be able to "chirp" like a cricket and the "silent" refers to the present time when I'm taking a break...But, perhaps after a season, however long I decide that needs to be, I may be back and then I will fill in more details about myself...
