Baked salmon Balls

ingredients
- 1 (15 1/2 ounce) can salmon
- 1⁄4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1⁄4 cup diced green onion
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 1⁄2 teaspoon dill weed
- 1⁄4 teaspoon garlic powder
directions
- Drain salmon.
- Combine with next six ingredients.
- Form into 25 balls.
- Place on greased cookie sheet.
- Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 20 minutes.
- Serve as an appetizer w/tartar sauce or as an entree.

I made these with what I had on hand but maintaining the spirit of the recipe. I used 6 T finely crushed herb-seasoned stuffing mix for the breadcrumbs, yellow onion for the green onion, 1 T dill pickle juice for the dill weed, and I added some onion powder. They turned out excellent. A little fragile, but the flavor was perfect.
