  1. This is so tasty! I am so glad I happened to see this recipe. This is going to be wonderful to serve in the summertime at our barbecues. Thanks for the great recipe!!

  2. YUM! This is a great dessert. I followed the directions, but would suggest chilling the desert before adding the chocolate sauce on top of the vanilla ice cream. I used Bryers splenda brand ice cream, and it was soooo good. I also added cherries, whipped cream, fresh pineapple slices, chopped peanuts, and the rest of the chocolate sauce to the top. I assembled the dessert in a springform pan which allowed it to keep it's shape. I made this the night before and then allowed it to thaw a while before serving. Also sliced each piece with a wet knife. This is perfect when you are in the mood for a banana split!! So Good!!

After DH and I moved away from the farm, and to the city...I haven't done as much cooking and very little canning. But I do come to Zaar and look for new recipes once in a while. I'm still cooking Zaar!! I like to play at Facebook, with my family and friends. A lot of my Zaar friends are there!! Yay! It's a good way to keep in touch. We travel more. We're looking at the European trips now. Hope to go in the springtime. I really want to see London, I think I lived there in a past life, I've been obsessed with it since I was 10 years old!!
