ingredients

3 lbs lean ground beef
1 (12 ounce) can evaporated milk
¹⁄₂ teaspoon garlic powder
2 teaspoons chili powder
2 cups oatmeal
2 eggs
2 teaspoons salt
¹⁄₂ teaspoon pepper
2 cups ketchup
2 tablespoons liquid smoke
1 ¹⁄₂ cups brown sugar
¹⁄₂ teaspoon garlic powder

directions

Combine first 8 ingredients in a large mixing bowl and shape into meatballs.
Place in a 9x13-inch baking pan and bake at 350°F for 20 minutes. Remove from oven and drain off fat.
Meanwhile combine last 4 ingredients in a saucepan and simmer for 5 minutes to form the sauce.
Pour sauce over meatballs and bake for an additional 40 minutes.
