  • Melt butter in small sauce pan until it stops bubbling. Add the flour, stir until fully incorporated. Cook over medium heat until the roux browns slightly.
  • Add the milk slowly while whisking continually. Cook and stir over medium high heat until the sauce bubbles, then remove from heat.
  • Add the cheese & mustard powder, stir gently until the cheese melts and incorporates completely. Season to taste.
