- 2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
- 5 green onions, finely chopped
- 1 large tomatoes, diced
- 1 1⁄4 cups diced celery
- 1 1⁄4 cups mayonnaise
- 5 teaspoons white vinegar
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 lb bacon, cooked and crumble
directions
- Cook macaroni according to package directions.
- Drain and rinse in cold water.
- In a large bowl combine the macaroni,green onions,tomato and celery.
- In a small bowl combine Mayonnaise,vinegar,salt and pepper.
- Pour over macaroni mixture and toss to coat.
- Cover and chill for 2 hours.
- Just before serving add bacon.

I just got done making this salad and I have to say this is a great salad, I went ahead and double it.. The thing I changed was put more mayonnaise in it I went from 1 1/4 cup to 1 1/2 cup just because noodles soak up the the mixture. I doubled it so I put in three cups but to make it single do 1 1/2 cups mayo.
