Blue Cheese Dressing

ingredients
- 2 cups mayonnaise
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1⁄4 cup white wine vinegar
- 1⁄4 cup minced fresh parsley
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ground mustard
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon pepper
- 4 ounces crumbled blue cheese
directions
- Mix ingredients in a blender until smooth.
- Chill.
- Spoon over crisp greens.

I made this for wing dipping. The fist time I was out of sour cream so I used buttermilk. The taste was perfect but a little thin. The second time I used sour cream. Taste was great but very thick. I think the third time i will lessen the sour cream and add some buttermilk. All in all, the best blue cheese dressing i have had! -
I love blue cheese dressings, but I especially love it on lettuce wedges decorated with crumbled bacon and chopped tomatoes. This dressing is just the perfect blend of flavors for us and we plan to make it often! I look forward to having it on some buffalo chicken wings too! -
Very good blue cheese dressing. I added a few dashes of Worcestershire and mixed by hand rather than in the blender. -
My wife has been begging for a Blue Cheese dressing that she can find at only a very few restaurants in our area. I tried this one and she says this is exactly what she has been looking for. This is one great Blue Cheese dressing, thanks!!

After DH and I moved away from the farm, and to the city...I haven't done as much cooking and very little canning. But I do come to Zaar and look for new recipes once in a while. I'm still cooking Zaar!!
I like to play at Facebook, with my family and friends. A lot of my Zaar friends are there!! Yay! It's a good way to keep in touch.
We travel more. We're looking at the European trips now. Hope to go in the springtime. I really want to see London, I think I lived there in a past life, I've been obsessed with it since I was 10 years old!!
