  • Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat and lightly oil the grate.
  • Whisk brown sugar and cinnamon together in a bowl. Pour sugar mixture into a large resealable plastic bag. Place pineapple wedges in bag and shake to coat each wedge.
  • Grill pineapple wedges on the preheated grill until heated through, 3 to 5 minutes per side.

  1. I made ours on skewers. They were great that way. I bought pre cut chunks. The store I shopped at didn't have uncut pineapple. Thanks for the grilling idea.
     
  2. Tasty! I cut my pineapple in thick wedges. My coals were a little too low (after grilling the meat) so they didn't cook very well. My fault. I finished them up on a stove top grill. We really enjoyed these but I found it impossible to stage them for a photo. lol. Thanks Lynn for sharing. Made for Culinary Quest 2014.
     
  3. Really great. I decided to skewer the pineapple. The only downside is that I think shaking the pineapple in the baggie with the sugar, put too much sugar coating on the pineapple. I don't think this would be a problem if you did it slices per the recipe. Thanks Lynn!
