  1. Excellent salad. And SO SIMPLE to make!! I made it and took it to an office potluck and it disappeared in seconds with everyone screaming at me for the recipe! THANKS!

  2. This was a big hit at our Easter potluck. I used Miracle Whip since I didn't have Mayo. It was pretty sweet, but everyone loved it. Next time I'll use Mayo!!

  3. This is the best broccoli salad recipe on the site. I am not a detail oriented cook and I used less bacon than what it called for and no slivered almonds. More bacon would've been good, but I didn't miss the almonds. I used a bag of broccoli/carrot slaw as well as the florets and that gave it a nice texture. I used fat-free mayo as well. It was excellent. Thank you for this great recipe.

  4. I just made this salad for our 4th of July celebration. I omitted the almonds and substituted craisins for the golden raisins. Very yummy. Thanks for posting!

  5. This was pretty good. It definitely needs at least 3 hours to sit so the broccoli soaks up some of the dressing. It is quite sweet so I would definitely reduce the sugar next time.

  2. Really good. Made for a picnic. Used dried cranberries instead of raisins, and left out the almonds. Other than that just followed the recipe!
