  1. I enjoyed this grilled treat very much, I had it for lunch today, it was very filling. I love swiss cheese and pears, it was the perfect combo for me. The textures and flavors work well together. The cinnamon sugar topping was a nice garnish. Thanks for sharing the recipe.

  2. Great recipe! I may even try it on little cocktail breads as an appetizer! Thanks for sharing!

  3. While this certainly was filling for an easy breakfast, I didn't care for the swiss and pear combo. I felt that the cheese was overpowering for the delicate flavor of the pear. I would try it again with a different cheese.

  4. Hey, this is good! I had to try it because it was so different sounding and I had all the ingredients. What a quick yummy breakfast, snack, lite lunch...

  5. Oh Dancer, Yummy, Yummy, Yummy! I think I have found my new favorite sandwich/snack. I am eating one of these, as I type this review. I used 2 slices of white bread, 4 slices of swiss cheese (2 on each slice of bread) placing over the edge of bread slightly so the bread didn't burn under the broiler. Covered with slices of ripe pear (unpeeled) and sprinkled with cinnamon/sugar. What a great treat! Thanks for a keeper in my house!
