Directions

  1. Combine 1 cup flour, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Cream together: butter and sugar.
  3. Beat in egg, vanilla and milk.
  4. Stir in flour mixture, then add enough of the remaining 1 cup flour to make the dough stiff enough to roll.
  5. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill several hours.
  6. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  7. Roll out on a lightly floured cutting board to 1/8" thickness.
  8. Use floured cookie cutters to cut into shapes.
  9. Place on an ungreased baking sheet, sprinkle with granulated sugar.
  10. Bake for 8 minutes.
