"I had to post this online to preserve it so I could never loose it. It comes from www.TopSecretRecipes.com Tom Wilber has recreated BWWs Spicy Garlic. I love BWW sauce but hate the place. I was stoked to find this recipe."

Questions & Replies

 1. Can you bottle this at room temp like the sauce you would buy from BWW? I'd like to be able to keep a few bottles/give them as gifts.

 1. I made this just so I didnt have to get out in the yukky weather and as soon as the kids got home, they tore into it and put it on everything from hot dogs to ham and cheese sandwiches to breakfast burritos, I was able to get about a tablespoon to dip celery in before it was gone. Simple to make and so good to eat, just scaled the recipe to make 6 cups, then will try for gallon next. Maybe it will last longer than an hour this time.

 2. I am a full-fledged Spicy Garlic authority and I agree with schertmark that this is the closest version of BWW's Spicy Garlic sauce. I also (accidentally) found that you can use an egg white instead of a yolk and it turns out just fine.

 3. Easy and delicious! We are wimps, so I skipped the cayenne pepper and it was still plenty spicy for us. I wanted something healthier, so I oven baked the wings and the brushed them with the sauce.

 4. I used minced garlic and twice the amount of it than the dry, and it's perfect!!! I think it's Better than BWW, personally, and everyone in my family loves it. We put it on everything from Eggs, and hash browns, to sandwiches, pizza, and even veggie sticks!!

 5. If you really like garlic, you can use cloves as well. I did, and I did not regret it!

 3. Made this a few weeks ago.. made a lot.. like 6 cups of franks worth.. and its all gone LOL.. BUT.. since spicy garlic is all of our favorites we had a lot of critics when we first made the sauce.. so we tweaked it. add in a little more Worcestershire sauce and a little bit more pepper to get it exactly right. For 3 cups of franks.. i used an extra 1.5 tsp of Worcestershire and about half a tsp more of pepper. if you are like us and it just wasn't spot on.. these are the ingredients you want more of to bring it around. also.. i pull back a little on the oil.. not a lot.. i used maybe 7/8 of a cup for 3 cups of franks.. and it just seems to sit better

 4. Awesome!! My husband and I always get spicy garlic wings from BW3 and I think this sauce is even better! We are making it again tonight (second time this week).
I used 1-1/3 cups Tennessee Sunshine instead of 1 cup of Franks; and butter instead of the oil, and it was delicious.
We mixed some with BBQ sauce for our son and it was really good too. I'm thinking of trying some with a dash of sesame oil too.

I love to cook, I love to eat, and it often shows on my waistline. Some of my meals come out great.... others..... well let’s just say I often use my boyfriend as a guinea pig. I love to watch the food network; Alton is my all time favorite. Followed closely by Gianda and Rachel Ray. I am a gadget whore and am always getting lost in the culinary store for hours. I love quick and simple dishes and grilling on the BBQ!!!!!!!!!!!!! And baking (though I am not very good at it. All in all I enjoy being in the kitchen even if it means I am cleaning it.
